A little bit about myself
I’m Jocelyn, a Marketer and UX Researcher from Vancouver, Canada and have lived in London, England for 9 years. I’ve once again found myself in the middle of another international move and am now back, living in Vancouver. I have a strong background in brand and growth marketing, with a specialisation in creative development, user research, A/B testing, and marketing insights.
My passion has always been to make impactful designs that help to bring a more positive and uplifting element to people’s lives.
I believe that research can help to tell users’ stories, build well-thought-through design strategies, and ultimately develop meaningful and creative designs. After working in strategic marketing, I decided to take my brand and consumer journey skills and immerse myself in a UX Intensive Course at CareerFoundry. Here I gained the necessary experience to lead UX research projects from end-to-end and build my UX and research skills while working at Experian.
When I’m not working, I like to be outside in nature. If I’m not running, training for a triathlon, going to a workout class or hiking, I slow down and either attempt to make pottery or take pictures of the beauty surrounding me.
